President - Dan W. Hill (B. Sc., P. Eng.)
Dan is an electrical and computer engineer with an extensive background in the construction and technology sectors. In an ever changing marketplace, technology plays a very important role, and by integrating these resources into the company, Dan helps Hillson Homes continue to provide the highest quality product at the best possible value.
Dan grew up around the job site, working for his father's company part time gaining experience in the fundamentals of construction. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, and is a registered Professional Engineer with APEGGA. He is a PHBIA accredited Master Home Builder®, PHBIA accredited Master Home Renovator® and Moisture Control Technician.
Founder & Construction Manager - Brian W. Hill (B. Ed., MBA)
Hillson Homes has been a family owned and operated company since the day Brian and Judy Hill founded it. From the start, Brian has prided himself on building with the highest standards and quality possible. Brian, who has said "I do it because I like to build.", has a passion for building, which is apparent in his product.
Brian is backed by an impressive list of accreditations, which includes an MBA and a Bachelor of Education, as well as being a Moisture Control Technician and one of the first recipients of the PHBIA accredited Master Home Builder® designation. To round out his involvement in the housing industry, Brian has also held an Alberta Real Estate license.
Brian returns his knowledge to the industry and community as an educator through the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta, the CRHBA Education Committee, SAIT, the Calgary School Board training program and the University of Calgary Senate.
A person would be hard pressed to find a more qualified, experienced and outstanding builder in the industry.
Project Manager - Mike Kaminski
Mike began work in the construction industry as a cabinet maker and general carpenter. He now manages projects, putting to good use his construction knowledge and detailed organizational skills. Mike is working towards his Professional Site Manager and eventually his Master Home Builder's certification. He has already received his moisture Technician certification.
General Carpenter - Dave Hill
Dave has been involved in the construction industry for over 34 years. He began as a general carpenter and has also performed roles including Service & Warranty Technician and Site Superintendant. Dave holds his Professional Site Manager certification.
General Carpenter - Brydon Hunt
Brydon began his career in the construction industry in 2002 as a framer. He later obtained his Architectural Technologies diploma from SAIT and currently performs general carpentry duties.
