Building Green

We are proud to announce that our first EnerGuide Rated Home has achieved an EnerGuide Rating of 86! This home also achieved 128 points and a Gold Level on the Built Green checklist and earned our customer rebates totalling $10,800.

Hillson Homes is very aware of the impact our products can have on the environment we live in. We strive to build with the least possible impact to our environment and to produce the most energy efficient home possible given the project's budget.

Registering a new home or renovation and obtaining an Energuide rating provides the home owner with an indication of just how energy efficient their home is and what kind of energy savings they can expect.

As a member of Built Green, we can register a home or renovation, complete the Built Green Checklist and provide the homeowner with the achievment level of their home. This enables some rebates on permits through the city, but more importantly, indicates how environmentally friendly the project was.

All of these programs provide important feedback as to the environmental impact of a product, both during construction and longer term.
